The day has come. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is now available to buy in Digital HD in the United States and other select territories such as Australia, several weeks ahead of the Blu-ray and DVD release which lands on March 6 in the US, wither other countries getting it in the following weeks.
In the United States, the film is available to buy on:
- iTunes (film and complete 5-hour bonus feature set from the Blu-ray)
- Wal-Mart/VUDU (UPDATE: film and complete Blu-ray bonus feature set minus the audio commentary; w/ VUDU-exclusive featurette)
- Amazon Instant (film and 40 minutes of bonus features including Philip Seymour Hoffman tribute, Lorde featurette and deleted scenes)
- Xfinity (film only)
- XBOX Video (film only)
- PlayStation Store/Sony Entertainment Network (film only)
- Google Play (film only)
The best option to get all the special features is the iTunes store release - so make sure you go for that option for the complete experience! Australia, among other select territories, also have the film available to buy through iTunes from today (February 18).
UPDATE: Lionsgate also debuted a chilling TV spot featuring The Hanging Tree promoting the release on American TV this week - check it out below:
As for other countries, bar some workarounds to buy the film from US-based digital stores, we're afraid you'll have to wait a little longer...
Those that managed to buy a copy - enjoy the film and bonus features and let us know what you think in the comments and the poll below!
Now, hopefully onto Part 2 promotion soon...
