UPDATE 27/4/15: Well folks, here we have it, as suspected and confirmed by Lionsgate on numerous occasions, there is nothing Mockingjay - Part 2 related playing with Avengers: Age of Ultron in the United States, as confirmed by Deluxe Digital Cinema.
It's looking very likely that they will be repeating Part 1's marketing schedule, so all we can do now is hang tight and wait...
UPDATE 20/4/15: Deluxe Digital Cinema have now confirmed that the new Part 2 trailer has not been sent to theatres by the studio with Age of Adaline, which leaves Avengers: Age of Ultron the confirmation regarding which we should find out in a week.
So do not lose hope, and as Nina Jacobson put it:
@MLooney18 hang in there

Also the U.S. theatre chain Harkins Theatres (via @lucasdavidgray) have backed up the earlier report that the trailer is scheduled play with Avengers: Age of Ultron from May 1. While the chain does say that "only a teaser is scheduled", given that the keys to the encrypted Remember teaser expire on April 24, we expect this to be a new teaser trailer featuring footage from the film.
Please keep in mind that the key word here is scheduled - no theatres have received the trailer yet. Given what we've said above about the trailer not being sent with Adaline, we should know for sure what's happening sometime in the next week.
We haven't even had as much as a breather from today's teaser poster and the Remember logo reveal teaser but the hype for the next stage of the Mockingjay - Part 2 campaign is starting up...
Fellow fansite Jabberjays.net, who first broke the news that there was a Mockingjay - Part 2 trailer placement scheduled for Insurgent this week, got the scoop again that the next trailer has been scheduled to play in U.S. theatres with Lionsgate's own Age of Adaline starting April 24 and with the other big movie event of 2015, Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron beginning May 1. Jabberjays also confirmed that the keys sent to theaters today that enable them to play the encrypted Remember teaser expire on April 24th - we have confirmed this is the same for the UK versions of the teaser, further solidifying this info.
(To note - Avengers opens in most territories outside the United States that final April weekend, which means the new trailer is very likely to play with these overseas showings too.)
We fully expect this trailer to debut online ahead of Adaline's theatrical release - with CinemaCon looming at the start of that week (where the Catching Fire trailer was presented, during Lionsgate's presentation, by director Francis Lawrence and other cast members, on the big screen for the first time since its TV and online debut at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards), and other huge trailers from Star Wars to Batman v Superman possibly scheduled for that time too...we could see this as a big opportunity to show off the first (aside from the Chinese release of Part 1) 3D footage of the film to theater owners and debut this for fans!
Stay tuned and we will let you know when we hear more about this!
